Description
The SE 558 ultrapure water pH sensor with Memosens digital technology is the ideal sensor for liquids with low ionic activity. Additionally, the integrated NTC 30K temperature element accurately compensates for the process temperature. The sensor utilizes 3 ceramic junctions and a pressurized reference system to prevent junction fouling and contamination, thus extending sensor life. The SE 558 sensor is particularly suitable for use in media of very low conductivity. It uses a gel KCl reservoir that requires no refilling. As a result, the SE 558 is a low-cost and low-maintenance option in comparison to refillable pH sensors. The reduced maintenance requirements, along with the integration of Memosens technology, provide for a significant reduction in the overall cost of ownership. An analog version of this sensor is also available.
Additionally, this high purity water pH sensor is suitable to use with any Memosens transmitter.
Applications for the SE 558 Ultrapure Water pH Sensor
SE 558 with Memosens Technology
Memosens sensors provide several benefits regarding ease of use and reduction of operating costs, such as:
- The submersible, inductive connection removes measurement influence from moisture and humidity that are commonly present in high purity water applications.
-
Galvanically isolated so there is no measurement influence from electrical noise or ground loops. This is especially beneficial when using plastic holders.
-
Technicians can perform calibrations and diagnostics in the shop or lab. As a result, this reduces field maintenance time and process downtime.
