Description
The SE 604 is a coaxial conductivity sensor for high purity water or steam condensate applications. The sensor has a large measuring range for ultrapure water of 0.001…1,000 µS/cm for the Memosens digital version and 0.001…500 µS/cm for the analog version.
The user can mount this coaxial two-electrode sensor in virtually any orientation. The sensor has straight threads and robust, coaxially-arranged stainless steel electrodes. Operators can easily clean the sensor thanks to the detachable outer electrode. Additionally, an integrated temperature element assures that all conductivity measurements are accurately compensated for the process media temperature.
The robust sensor design, along with the integration of Memosens technology, provides a significant reduction in the overall cost of ownership. The SE 604 is suitable for use with any M4 Knick transmitter.
The SE 604 also has hazardous area approvals, cFMus Cl. 1 Div. 1, GP ABCD T3/T4/T6.

Conductivity with Memosens Technology
Memosens sensors provide several benefits with regard to ease of use and reduction of operating costs:
- Submersible inductive connection removes measurement influence from moisture and humidity
- Galvanically isolated so there is no measurement influence from noise or ground loops.
- Technicians can perform calibrations and diagnostics in the shop or lab. As a result, this reduces field maintenance time and process downtime.
