TVS Valve

The TVS valve is a thermal shut-off that ensures that process fluids remain below the temperature threshold of an analyzer. It reduces the sample’s temperature when it exceeds operating limits. The TVS Valve does not require a power source. The thermal shut-off valve is IP 67 rated and corrosion-resistant, with a 316 L Stainless Steel body. In the standard mode of operation, while the temperature is below the adjusting point of 120°F (49°C), the valve remains open. When the temperature reaches the adjusting point, the valve closes to block the sample stream and remains in this position until the temperature lowers to the reset point of 113 °F (45 °C). The valve automatically resets, so operators do not need a manual reset. You can install the TVS valve either vertically or horizontally. The process connections support the valve, so it does not require additional support. This valve is available as part of a sample conditioning panel or as a component for existing panels.
