Description
The SensoGate WA 130 is a pneumatic retractable holder for 225 mm pH, ORP, conductivity, and oxygen sensors. The retractable holder connects to the Unical or Uniclean controller for sensor retraction with automatic calibration and/or cleaning.
SensoGate WA 130 Focuses on Operator Safety
This holder offers several features focused on the safety of the operator. An internal scraping ring and “cyclone” cleaning chamber ensure minimal process media exposure.
In addition, the operator can only remove the sensor in the service position, maximizing process safety. Automatic insertion protection reliably blocks the movement of the fitting and prevents extension into the process position without a sensor.
Because of the variety of process fittings, materials of construction, and elastomer materials, you can be sure to choose the correct holder in all applications.
Built with Maintenance in Mind
The SensoGate series of holders is the first retractable fitting featuring a sealing water function with a lock-gate. The gasket rinsing during the stroke movement – from measurement to the service position and back – reliably prevents the adherence of dirt, fibers, and particles. This feature results in a much longer service life with correspondingly reduced maintenance requirements and significant cost savings.
The SensoGate WA 130 has both an inlet and outlet to bring cleaning solutions into the chamber. In addition, the SensoGate utilizes a “cyclone cleaning” process that dispurses rinse media 360° around the sensor for a thorough cleaning.
Finally, the retractable holder includes a plug & play media adapter for quick connection to the Unical or Uniclean controller. The centralized multi-plug is a single connection to all rinsing, cleaning, and calibration media as well as the control air and limit position mechanisms.
Applications for the SensoGate WA 130
A SensoGate WA 130 is the ideal sensor holder for processes where:
- Easy access to a sensor during operation is required
- Hazardous materials cause safety concerns
- Suspended solids require regular sensor cleaning
- Process shutdowns require wet storage of sensors
- Automatic calibrations and/or cleaning systems are required
